About us

Salmon White Music was set up by Jenny Salmon and David White to promote the music they write and Jenny performs.
Jenny released her debut album “This Time” late in 2020 in a collaborative work with David.
Jenny is a stunning vocalist and guitarist. As a teacher by day, Jenny predominantly teaches guitar and singing, but has also been known to teach the keyboard, drums, saxophone, and ukulele.
Jenny has been performing since she was nine years old. Originally part of a group known as the Salmon Sisters, she toured the UK and Europe where they have supported many of the UK’s biggest entertainment acts to date. This includes the likes of The Baron Knights, Lonny Donnigan, Frank Carson, Mike Reid, Mick Miller, The Platters, The Four Tops, and the Drifters to name a few.
At the age of twenty-one, Jenny’s solo career took her to New Zealand where she spent almost five years, gained dual citizenship, and performed to some of New Zealand’s finest. Jenny was one of the musicians for the America’s Cup in Auckland 2000  and had the pleasure of singing for the All Blacks and the Black Caps. The latter were so impressed that they asked Jenny to carry performing just for them afterwards.
Upon returning to the UK, Jenny has continued to tour and perform her music as well as finding the time to have two children.
Now in a relationship with David, they have found what they believe to be the perfect songwriting team each complimenting the other with Jenny playing the music and David in charge of the lyrics.
David has been a solicitor since 1991 and is currently a partner in the practice Duffield Harrison LLP in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. David is a writer at heart who has nearly completed his first children’s novel but who has found, through Jenny, a love for writing musical lyrics.
